Terms of Use
Welcome to For Teachers | By Teachers LLC (referred to as "School"). By accessing our website, you agree to these Terms of Use, applicable laws, and guidelines for responsible participation. We’re here to help you have a great experience, and we encourage you to reach out if you have any questions.
Use License
We’re happy to grant you permission to download course materials for personal, non-commercial use while you're enrolled. This is a temporary license, so please avoid modifying, distributing, or sharing these materials outside of class without our written permission. Copying, reverse-engineering, or attempting to reuse any course materials or software on our site is prohibited. Need more access after your course ends? Contact us, and we’ll work to assist.
Participant Responsibility for Professional Credit
Our courses are designed to offer valuable professional development, and many of our participants use these credits toward salary reclassification or professional requirements. However, rules vary by state and district, and we cannot guarantee course acceptance for specific requirements. It is the participant’s responsibility to confirm credit acceptance with their state or district’s Department of Education and to ensure they can meet any deadlines for credit submissions. We encourage all participants to verify these requirements prior to enrollment. While we’re happy to offer guidance, ultimate responsibility for ensuring credit eligibility lies with you.
Disclaimer
All materials are provided "as is," and while we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that everything will always be perfect. For Teachers | By Teachers LLC disclaims all liability related to the use or misuse of course materials, as well as any issues participants may encounter in meeting their professional or credit-based needs. Our goal is to support you, but each participant is solely responsible for ensuring that course content aligns with their individual needs.
Limitations of Liability
While we make every effort to deliver a smooth, uninterrupted experience, unforeseen issues may arise. For Teachers | By Teachers LLC is not liable for delays, disruptions, or any resulting losses. Participants agree to assume all risks associated with the use of our services. If you encounter technical issues, please reach out to us, and we’ll do our best to assist.

All materials—including text, logos, course content, and proprietary information—are the exclusive property of For Teachers | By Teachers LLC. Copying, modifying, distributing, or redistributing any content without permission is prohibited. We take our intellectual property seriously and reserve the right to pursue legal action to protect it. By accessing our materials, you agree to respect these rights.

State-Specific Requirements
- Hawaii State DOE Participants: Please follow all required processes for completing forms, meeting deadlines, and submitting coursework. By agreeing to these Terms of Use, you acknowledge that it is your responsibility to determine and confirm all of the most up-to-date Hawaii State DOE policies, procedures, and deadlines related to PD-credit salary reclassification. This includes verifying all requirements and timelines for start dates, end dates, and course completion dates associated with both Graduate Level PD Credits—such as those earned through our UMass Global and CSU Pueblo partnerships—and Learnsoft (formerly PDE3) earned PD credits. Related information can be found here: PD Credits and Requirements. For Teachers | By Teachers LLC is not responsible for verifying individual participant requirements, and we recommend consulting with the Hawaii State DOE to ensure compliance with all applicable guidelines.
- New York City DOE Participants: NYC DOE participants must be registered with ASPDP before the enrollment deadline to earn P-credits or CTLE credits. Reach out if you need assistance with this process.
User Conduct
We’re dedicated to a positive and respectful learning environment. Please treat everyone with respect. Any harassment, discrimination, or abusive conduct will not be tolerated and may lead to suspension of access.
Termination of Access
While we hope this is never needed, we reserve the right to revoke access if there is misuse or violation of our terms. If access is terminated, we’ll inform you of the reason.
Third-Party Services
We may use third-party services (such as payment processors) to enhance your experience. These services operate under their own terms, and while we aim for a seamless process, we are not liable for issues arising from third-party providers.
Force Majeure
In the event of unexpected circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, internet outages), we will do our best to minimize disruptions but cannot be held liable for delays.
No Employment Relationship
Enrollment in our courses does not create an employment relationship with For Teachers | By Teachers LLC. Participants act independently and are not authorized to bind the School in any way.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect.
Entire Agreement
These Terms of Use, along with any additional policies, make up the entire agreement between you and For Teachers | By Teachers LLC, replacing any previous agreements.
Course Credit Eligibility
We work diligently to provide PD credits that may support your career development. However, credit requirements vary, and it is your responsibility to verify with your local or state Department of Education whether our courses meet your specific needs. We’re here to help answer questions, but For Teachers | By Teachers LLC assumes no liability for a course’s acceptance by any institution.
Changes to Terms of Use
We may occasionally update these Terms to ensure relevance and clarity. You’ll always find the latest version here, and we will notify you of any significant changes. Continuing to use our services means you agree to the updated terms.
