ASPDP Semester Dates
NYC DOE sets these dates, not us. The one to circle is the online registration deadline — the last day to register your course with ASPDP for that semester. You can enroll with For Teachers By Teachers and start your coursework any day of the year.

Going for 30 Credits? We Teach Both Kinds.
A salary differential can call for as many as 30 credits. NYC DOE lets you build them from two sources — and you can earn both right here, in the same self-paced format.
ASPDP A+ Credit
Every differential requires a minimum number of A+ credits, set by your hire date. A+ credits come only from ASPDP-approved courses like ours — so this is the part to cover first.
$175 per course + $125 ASPDP fee
University Graduate Credit
Once your A+ minimum is met, NYC DOE counts university coursework toward the same differential. Our UMass Global courses carry a letter grade on an official transcript, in the same self-paced format.
$165 per course + optional $190 for the transcript
How many A+ credits do you need first?
UMass Global is regionally accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC). These are graduate-level professional development credits, not degree-program credits — they do not stack toward a master's. Credit requirements vary by hire date and by your own salary history, and NYC DOE reviews every differential application, so confirm your specific numbers with your salary office or HR Connect before you plan around them.
