Graduate Credit Verification
Everything your HR department, district, or certification office needs to verify our graduate credits — all in one place.
How It Works
When you earn graduate credit through FTBT, your transcript comes directly from one of our regionally accredited university partners. That means an official university credential you can use for salary advancement, recertification, district reimbursement, and more.
Pick your university partner
Choose UMass Global or Colorado State University Pueblo — both are regionally accredited and both will issue your official transcript.
Take your course, on your schedule
All FTBT courses are completely self-paced. No deadlines, no commutes, no fixed class times — learn when and where it works for you.
Receive your official university transcript
When you finish, you order your transcript directly from the university. That's the document your HR department, district, or certification office will recognize.
Our University Partners
Whether you're seeking salary guide advancement, district reimbursement, state recertification credit, or your principal just wants to see the paperwork — everything you need regarding accreditation is here. Both links go directly to each university's official accreditation record on the accrediting body's own website.
UMass Global
Accredited by WSCUC since 1956Colorado State University Pueblo
Accredited by HLC since 1951About These Professional-Development Credits
For Teachers By Teachers is proud to partner with University of Massachusetts Global to provide graduate-level professional development credits to students who complete coursework with For Teachers By Teachers. University of Massachusetts Global is accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC). These credits are professional development units that are not part of a degree program but instead are primarily used for professional advancement (such as salary increment steps and re-certification). One semester credit is equivalent to 15 hours. Students should seek approval of appropriate district or school officials before enrolling in these courses to satisfy any degree, state credential, or local school district requirements. State licensing departments vary regarding their criteria or credit acceptance, and some states may not accept credit from universities located outside of the state.
Academic Session Dates
Our courses are completely self-paced — there are no fixed start dates and no deadlines. If your HR department or district asks for the semester or term dates tied to your credit, use the term dates printed on your official university transcript (for example, "Spring 2025 Extended Education, 01/01/25–04/27/25"). Those dates are the authoritative record for your specific units.
A university's general academic calendar lists standard term sessions and drop/add dates that apply to degree-program enrollment — they do not govern these self-paced professional-development courses. Your transcript is the correct reference for term dates.
