Newer Pennsylvania teachers must convert an Instructional I certificate to Instructional II (Level II) within 6 years of service, and that conversion takes 24 post-baccalaureate credits. The 3 graduate credits from a UMass Global edition can count toward those 24: PDE accepts graduate credits from accredited degree-granting universities and reviews each transcript.
