Yes, for license renewal β Massachusetts awards PDPs for completing an accredited university course, and a Pass documents that. A letter grade isn't needed for renewal. The one exception is salary lanes: some districts prefer a letter grade for a raise, so if that's your goal, the UMass Global path is the safer pick. A quick check with HR settles it.
These are graduate courses that issue real university credit, which Massachusetts converts to PDPs for renewal β they're not the separate SEI Teacher Endorsement, and they don't need to be on a state provider list to count (accredited universities issue the credit).
