Your certificate
One Texas CPE certificate per course — five in all. Each lists what 19 TAC §232.21 requires: the provider name and provider number 910094, your name, the date you completed the course, the course content, and 45 clock hours. Keep them with your renewal records; Texas asks educators to maintain documentation of completed CPE (19 TAC §232.16).
Every course includes the Texas Module: Educating Students with Disabilities and Dyslexia — the training on educating students with disabilities, with information particular to dyslexia, that 19 TAC §232.11(c)(1) requires of all educators. Texas allows this requirement to be satisfied through an online course (Texas Education Code §21.054(c)).
Renewal math
225 clock hours — classroom teachers renew a standard certificate on 150 CPE clock hours every five years (19 TAC §232.11): your full 150-hour renewal, for less than four courses bought separately.
